New Balance needed a designer that could come in, work fast, and help implement their new design system, Always In Beta, on a whole bunch of projects.
I did just that while I was on contract with them. I owned the design on everything from New Balance’s presence at the Brooklyn Half Marathon and Chicago Marathon, to in-store fixtures that helped customers find the right shoes, to a double-decker party bus that was driven all around NYC for a few months.
This work involved getting buy in from stakeholders and it was ridiculously fun. I collaborated with marketing and sales, external agencies like Arnold Worldwide, and developed strong relationships with design managers.
