Résumé

Hire me
I love working on hard problems. I deliver results by using research and data to come up with simple, helpful, and if needed, innovative solutions. I flourish in an environment where meeting business goals is celebrated and I love to mentor talent along the way.

I’m looking for a role in media, tech, or an agency where flexibility is exciting. I’m open to a design position and I’m particularly excited about working on product, strategy, and writing.

Experience

Etsy  •  Senior Product Designer
June 2017 – June 2018
While at Etsy I led product design and pitched in for strategy on their first ever sale experience and the Holiday Gift Guide. Additionally, I helped mentor talent around me along the way.

Amazon  •  UX Designer
December  2015 – June 2017
In my time working at Amazon I primarily focused on designing mobile products with a scalable systems approach. Working within the Engagement Design Group org, I led exploratory work like Project Five which aimed to simplify the customer experience. I also owned Reviews across all platforms and helped bring Reactions into Amazon.

MyTransHealth  •  Co-founder + Designer
August 2014 – Present
Finding access to quality healthcare is filled with frustrating challenges for trans people. With that in mind, I co-founded and designed MyTransHealth to make this process easier.

New Balance  •  Graphic Designer
April 2015 – November 2015 (Contract)
I was responsible for designing solutions for New Balance’s presence at the Brooklyn Half Marathon, D23 Expo, and the Chicago Marathon. I also collaborated closely with the product team to ensure the benefits of a product were clear to the people purchasing it.

Staples  •   Graphic Designer
August – April 2015 (Contract)
I was a flexible designer on the Staples Brand Group team. I designed brand identities, web graphics, photoshoots, and in-store fixtures. I also worked with a team of designers to redesign Staples’ packaging on an international scale.

Great Schools Partnership  •   Graphic Designer
January 2013 – August 2014
I designed various digital solutions to benefit a team of educators redesigning high school education in the northeast. The range of resources included a platform for them to blog on, a glossary for language, and a system to evaluate teachers.

The VIA Agency  •   Graphic Designer
October 2012 – December 2012 (Contract)
Short on help, The VIA Agency hired me to work in-house for a month long contract on the rebranding of Friendly’s. I was quickly integrated as a production designer with a skillful team to enforce the brand they were already deep into production for. I illustrated icons, was involved in pitch meetings, and supported concept development.

Dispatch Magazine  •   Graphic Designer & Tour Manager
March 2011 – October 2012
I shipped design on a deadline at this start up magazine. Working with an editor, I researched, coordinated writers, photographed, and designed a 32-page bimonthly lifestyle magazine for print and digital. Put simply, I cut my teeth, learned how to take a punch, and got the job done here.

Portland Stage Company  •   Graphic Design Intern
August  2010 – March 2011
As an intern, I worked on the marketing side of theatre productions. This included taking existing creative and building it out for various advertisements. I also was the person who made it snow during A Christmas Carol.
